This coming Saturday a handful of foreign bands will unite to play some Stones songs and raise money to help a group of orphans get bikes. The 경생원 orphanage is out in Gangdong (my old stomping grounds) and mainly houses older kids who are no longer candidates for adoption. Currently, 57 kids call it home.
I’ll be playing sax, keyboard and rapping in The Bicycle Thieves, a band thrown together just for the occasion, and sitting in on a song with Bamboo Wife.
